Rainy Weather Covers Parts of Jakarta Today

Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by strong winds and lightning in short duration in West, South and East Jakarta areas at noon and in the late afternoon

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) estimates that rainy weather will blanket parts of Jakarta sky today, Wednesday (4/14).

"Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by strong winds and lightning in short duration in West, South and East Jakarta areas at noon and in the late afternoon," quoted from BMKG's official site.

BMKG Predicts Rain in Afternoon and Partly Cloudy at Night

In the morning, all five regions and Thousand Islands will be bright cloudy. Then West, South and East Jakarta areas would see some rain at noon, except in North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

At night, light rain is expected in South and East Jakarta, but cloudy in West, Central, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

While at tomorrow's dawn, light rain will fall in Thousand islands, except West, North, Central, South and East Jakarta.

Temperatures are predicted at 24 to 33 degrees Celsius with humidity of 80 to 95 percent.
